COLD WEATHER CHALLENGE
The mercury is trying to hang in there. Forty degrees can be a pretty pleasant ride when you're dressed properly. The fifteen degree morings before the sun gets up in the sky can be a challenge. It's called a Cold Weather Challenge. Bundle up. The winner came in at -16 a couple years ago.

Join us in January
As we lurch through the holiday season, we would like wish you all peace, prosperity, and a joyful new year! We'd also like to draw your attention to a couple up-coming events that we will be hosting in January. On Saturday, January 10th, at 1 P.M., join us for a safety seminar featuring Jed Duncan from Rider Academy. Jed will cover some of the basics of safe riding, outline the benefits of professional rider safety training, and explain proper riding gear. This valuable seminar is free, but please call and let us know you will be attending.
On the 23rd and 24th of January, we will host the Fourth Annual Cabin Fever Scooter Rally. Get together with fellow scooterists for a mid winter visit. You'll see new products, new accessory options, and our only sale of the year! Mark your calendars and tell your friends about these two fun and informative events.

The cold chill of winter is upon us

It’s been a busy summer for us here at Scooterville, so our apologies for the lack of updates. Now that it’s getting a little colder and the flakes are starting to fly we can finally take a deep breath and relax a little. Thanks to everyone who has made this summer one of the best yet for Scooterville. We are excited to see what the New Year will bring!
A testament to the amount of scooter sales this year was the Rattle My Bones 2 rally. There were over 250 scooters and scooterists involved. It was spectacular to see that many people out on two wheels and having so much fun! Scooters aren’t just for commuting anymore. We’ve also seen some new clubs forming and many more groups taking to the street. It’s a great way to get out there and meet new people.
As we grow, we need to meet the demands of you, our wonderful customers. We don’t want to just sell you a bike and forget about you. We want to take care of you! In doing so we had our first Scooterville clinic last night on how to winterize your scooter. We had 13 eager students who all left with a little more understanding. Not only of what to do for the winter months, but also a little more understanding of how their bikes work. We have the same class offering this Sat. (Nov 15th) at 1 pm and there is still room! Call us if you would like to reserve a spot. If you are not adventurous enough to winterize your own bike we do still have some space available for winter storage. For those brave enough to venture out on their bikes in the cold winter months we have some new accessories that will help keep you warm!
We’re looking to add to the scooter collection with the Kymco Super 8, the Vespa 300, and a new style Buddy, the Black Jack. We’ll also be seeing some color changes in the People 50 and 150’s and the Genuine Rough House. Should be an exciting spring when these scooters roll off the truck. It’s almost like unwrapping a big birthday present taking the scooters out of the crates.
If you are looking to get your scooter fix this winter when it’s too cold to ride, stop in and visit. We’ve got a new coffee pot that’s just waiting to warm you up!
