This is season number six for us. Wow! Did that go by in blink? Looking back to the first days it's really amazing. Those were the cautious first steps onto a freshly frozen pond. I recently spent a couple half hour sessions with Dave Harrington from justgottascoot.com on his weekly scooter oriented podcast. He invited me to share my recollections on the incubation and the hatching of the "Scooterville Project". If you have a chance, visit the site and give it a listen.
We recently received the distinction of being awarded one of the Best Of the Twin Cites designations by the popular weekly newspaper, The City Pages. The most satisfying aspect of the award is that it came from the readers choice segment. You, the people. We are truely honored and humbled. We hope to repeat.
Here we are in late May of 2007. It's our 5th Aniversary! We opened our doors on the last Saturday of May in 2002. Much has changed. Many things are the same. We've greatly expanded the size and scope of Scooterville in that time. Recent gas price increases have had a significant impact on scooter sales. We will sell more scooters in May than we did our entire first season!
What hasn't changed is our original commitment to quality, value, and customer service. We have, and will continue to bring the best scooters and accessories available to the growing legion of scooterists in the Twin Cities and surrounding area.
