Spring Is Here!posted by Bob | March 20, 2007 | link
Each Spring is greeted by a flurry of scooters heading out the door at Scooterville. There are the Winter storage scoots, the dozen that sold at the Cabin Fever Rally, and the early season buyers who have spent the past few months dreaming and saving. Picking up their purses and wallets, they race in at the first notion of a thaw and lay claim to their dream.
These are the people who get their choice of the showroom and have the first opportunity to set eyes upon the new products we have to offer.
The new model year has a great number of changes and enhanced offerings for you.
Genuine Scooter Company has introduced a restyled Buddy 125 and added RED to the color choices. To place an exclaimation point on the 2007 model selection they have introduced the Buddy Series Italia 125. A new color scheme is now available on the Blur 150 while some fantastic savings remain on available 2006 model Blurs. Early Summer will bring the 110cc 2 stroke Rattler to our shores. It's gonna fly!
If you haven't stopped in lately, the new offerings from Kymco will turn your head. They introduced a bunch of new models late in the Summer of '06 and kept them coming through the turn of the new year. We now have the new People S design available in 50cc 4T, 125cc, 200cc and 250cc engine sizes. The new design heads strongly in the direction of the style favored in the European scooter market. The traditional People line remains intact and includes a fabulous retro green model as well as the reintroduction of our all time best seller, the People 50. The 2 stroke engine, which has been updated to beat EPA emissions regulations, still will produce the kind of power that gets you around town in front of the crowd. We have all color options available right now!
TGB is keeping us supplied with the popular Key West model. Still our best value for an entry level scooter. We await confirmation on a new 150cc offering from them that will turn some heads around, and still have the new Sunset 150 ready to roll.
It's a lot to digest coming out of the ice and snow. The streets are ready. Are you?
